The One Wing (House of Hope)  provides a housing program which enables women and children through the transitional phase, provides women with the necessary tools to achieve economic independence & self-reliant lives, provides residential alternative to a secure detention setting, provides a safe and loving environment for the underage child while the parent of the program is away (at work, doctor visits, school etc.), and provides transportation to and from places like work, doctor’s visits, and school (GED, higher education/college). The facility also provides the Juvenile Court with a short-term/temporary residential placement for youth charged with a status (non-delinquent) offense.
